Today Apple introduced the fabled “iPad” to the masses to a mixture of reactions. Most question if the device is really as Jobs would say, ”this is way better than a laptop, way better than a smartphone.” I won’t go as far as saying that they will take that iPhone or MacBook out of your hands right now but I do see it becoming widely adapted by Amazon Kindle users that are looking for a little extra (would be Amazon Kindle buyers as well perhaps).

What I like about the iPad is that it’s a little bit of everything and a step into the right direction for Apple. This being their first edition I didn’t expect it to replace my MacBook or iPhone which I doubt it ever will. But I do see it being as shown a great way to read newspapers, magazines and textbooks. It’s great for answering quick emails and browsing the net here and there. With a 10 hour battery life I see the bonus to current MacBook users who get tired of pulling out their MB to check emails or do quick tasks. Of course you can do that on an iPhone or any other smartphone but it’s the luxury of the bigger screen that draws the user in. It doesn’t come with a camera or flash, but the flash part doesn’t bother me since it’s a big drain on the CPU anyways. The camera however I would have liked to see for capturing events on Ustream or any other streaming device. Then again I have an iPhone 3GS so I already have that functionality.

Most of the good and bad of this product and the deciding factor as to whether or not the iPad comes down to you. If you don’t have an iPhone/iPod Touch I would consider this to be a pretty good product if you have the money to fork over. But I personally would wait for the iPad 2.0 whenever that is released to see what new additions they add. Until then I’ll sit back with a watchful eye and see where Apple goes with the iPad.

I watched this video at first and my first reaction was to laugh because I was under the impression that the man in the video was drunk. After awhile the laughter turned into wondering what the dude was really on. You be the judge, what do you think? Is this man drunk or is he flying on a cloud higher than your local liquor store could take him to?

I was just bored and wanted to check in to let you all know that I am still alive and kicking. LOL..I’ve been so into my PS3 these days that you would think I was abducted by aliens and forced into servitude. I will give you an update on those games as well as some videos of me playing a few of them lol..that part was pretty funny but anyways be safe you guys and take care. Happy Fragging

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Review

So I’ve been on a hiatus as of late not for personal reasons but in fact my friends..GAMING REASONS!!! Modern Warfare 2 came out on 11/10/09 and I am one of the crazy gamers that was so pumped up and ready for this game (as I’m sure you were) that I went to a midnight release at my local GameStop and waited in the cold to pick it up.

I must say that it is surely worth the time that it took out of my beautiful Monday evening of doing nothing and a whole bunch of nothing on top of that. Well here’s a review from Video Game Juggernaut IGN. Enjoy, HAPPY FRAGGING!

DJ Hero

Picked up DJ Hero on the 27th and haven’t been able to put it down. I’ve played Guitar Hero amongst other games that fit in that genre and I must say I’m rather impressed. Of course it’s nothing like the real thing but the feeling of it is overwhelming.

The biggest thing for me about this game is the tracklisting for the game, mixing in Hip Hop, Dance, Electronic and classic oldies seemlessly in the 93 included tracks! This game will surely be around for years to stay I’m very sure but the base product has me sold. There’s only one thing I hope for and that’s more tracks from LL Cool J & Run DMC, even without more tracks including them I believe I found my Guitar Hero substitute.

I think I can honestly say that I’ve been in a slump, writers block as some might call it. Well I decided to get back into the swing of things since a lot of people are asking me why I haven’t updated as of late. Truth be told I was just going through a few things and I needed to sort things out and get my head back on straight and get back to what’s important in life. Other than that just figuring out what’s in store for me and my life, how I can better myself and better others in the process. I think the true definition of living a good life isn’t being monetarily stable, but how many lives you can impact in a positive way while you’re here.

If I can’t afford a Bentley, but only a low end Ford or Accord..it’ll all be worth it if I can make atleast one person smile everyday.
